General Requirements to Become a Real Estate Agent

1. Be above the age of 18 years old. In order to qualify and become a real estate agent, you have to be at least 18 years of age.

2. Be a legal US residence. No explanation needed here.

3. Get educated

To become a real estate agent, one must complete pre-licensing courses, as per the state’s requirements. For specific licensing requirements, contact your state’s real estate commission. 4. Choose a brokerage

To become a real estate agent, you are required to work with a real estate brokerage firm to practice the profession.
