Cash Flow Guys | Real Estate Investing & Cashflow Ideas

Our list of the best real estate podcasts starts with a podcast that is more investor-orientated. However, it provides excellent tips for anyone wanting to earn passive income. What makes this very good in the category of real estate investing podcasts, are the practical lessons learned that the hosts share based on their backgrounds as real estate investors and entrepreneurs. However, many of the topics they cover are relevant for both investors and real estate agents, such as self-directed Individual Retirement Account (IRA) investing, fix and flip (i.e. purchasing a revenue-generating asset and reselling it for profit), buy and hold, wholesale real estate, leasing options, and electronic banking, just to name a few.

The hosts say their podcast was inspired by the teachings of Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, which advocates the importance of financial literacy, financial independence, and building wealth through investing in assets and real estate, and starting businesses. In their podcast, they distill what they have learned from Kiyosaki and other real estate investment philosophies. They also provide practical tips for real estate investing. Some of our favorite episodes are:

  • Overcoming the Past to Succeed in the Future
  • How to Deal with Emotional Realtors and Their Sellers
  • Offer Accepted – How to Get to Yes

Talking Manhattan

The second on our list is a podcast where Noah Rosenblatt and John Walkup from UrbanDigs, a Manhattan residential analytics platform, talk real-time New York real estate data and trends. This is particularly useful for agents. But do not just take our word for it. Here is what Joan Kagan, a real estate agent at Triplemint, has to say about the podcast:

I enjoy ‘Talking Manhattan,’ featuring Urbandigs founder, Noah Rosenblatt, who speaks with real estate agents about market trends, using data found on Urbandigs. For real estate geeks like me, who get excited by the nuance of shifts in micro-markets, Talking Manhattan is like going out for drinks with a group of work friends and dishing about topics that not everyone would be interested in.

Here are our favorite episodes:

  • Sales, Rentals, Taxes, and the Macro Economics of Today’s Market
  • The Importance of First Impressions and Getting Back to Basics with Paul Bernstein
  • Real Estate, Media, and More with Amir Korangy of The Real Deal

YES Talk

The third on our list of best real estate podcasts is YES Talk, hosted by Kevin Ward. He is a real estate success coach and author of the book, “YES: The Ultimate Real Estate Agent Conversation Guide”. This podcast provides 5 to 20-minute episodes on training strategies, systems, skills, and scripts for real estate agents. These will teach you how to communicate with clients and help you get more of those “Yes’s” from them. Our favorite YES Talk episodes include:

The Property Podcast from Property Hub (propertyhub.net) is another podcast we enjoy. It is relevant for both experienced and new real estate agents, specifically those who wish to work with investors. The hosts, Rob Bence and Rob Dix, discuss topical property relates issues and news. The hosts also share their knowledge and experience from investing in the UK property market. It is the perfect podcast for those just beginning in the real estate industry. Here are our favorite sessions from the Property Podcast:

  • Is There a Minimum Value That Makes Sense for a Buy-to-Let?
  • How Do I Raise the Money to Invest in Property?

Masters in Business – Bloomberg Opinion

This podcast, hosted by the Bloomberg Opinion columnist Barry Ritholtz, might not at first seem like a real estate podcast. However, it provides excellent insights into the people and ideas that shape markets, investments, and the business world at large. Why is this relevant for agents?  Real estate agents do not only need to understand real estate market trends and strategies, but the big ideas shaping whole industries – and it is for this reason this podcast is one of the best podcasts for real estate agents.

Here is how Lucas Callejas, a real estate agent at Triplemint, reviews the podcast:

‘Masters in Business – Bloomberg Opinion’ has great guests, including well-known government and business figures with impactful careers, and they tend to take a deep dive into what drove their success. In addition, ‘P&L – Bloomberg Markets’ touches on a few important topics per day. They bring in a range of guests per short episode. It helps me keep up to date without getting too granular and overloading the listener with info.

Here are our favorite episodes which are also more real estate orientated:

  • Len Kiefer Discusses the Housing and Mortgage Markets
  • Francis Greenburger Discusses Real Estate Development
  • Neil Dwane Discusses Global Investment

Tech Nest: The Real Estate Tech Show

Tech Nest is a newer podcast, which is for sure of interest to anyone wanting to learn more about real estate technology tools. It is hosted by Nate Smoyer with Real Team Panda, a marketing company for real estate tech startups and small businesses. The podcasts are set up around interviews with innovators and leaders from real estate tech and marketing companies, who are challenging the way things are done in real estate. We like the fact that this podcast gives new tech disrupters a platform to talk about their business and the tech trends in real estate more broadly. Our favorite episodes or interviews on Tech Nest are with:

  • Craig Cecilio, CEO & Founder of DiversyFund, a fund bringing the ability to invest in real estate to anyone
  • Vered Schwarz, COO at Guesty, company managing multiple short-term rentals globally
  • Omri Dor, CEO & Co-Founder of Obligo, providing a more seamless system for security deposits

Good Morning New York – Real Estate with Vince Rocco

This podcast covers everything real estate, especially in the New York/ Manhattan area, and sometimes covers the national market as well. The podcast introduces the most qualified resources in the business of real estate to help you buy and close transactions. The podcast also covers interviews with sellers, buyers, agents, attorneys, mortgage bankers, stagers and designers. What is also helpful is that it provides weekly market updates, both local and national.

And again, do not just take our word for it. This is what Chase Rabenn, a real estate agent at Triplemint, has to say about the podcast:

I listen to Good Morning New York – Real Estate with Vince Rocco. This podcast brings in real estate professionals from different brokerages each week to discuss the overall market pulse as well as specific issues and news stories. Each episode is a casual round-table, which makes the discussion topics easily accessible to both professionals and novices.

We recommend these informative episodes:

  •         Sales and Rental Projections for 2019
  •         Making It Easier to RENT in NYC

Real Estate Uncensored

Continuing our list of the best real estate podcasts, here is another good one: Real Estate Uncensored. The hour-long episodes cover interviews and are hosted by Greg McDaniel and Matt Johnson. Their business practice is focused on paid leads as their main lead generation tactic, pay-per-click campaigns, building teams, and working the phones. Their style is rather refreshing compared to the other podcasts, as they do take the “uncensored” quite literally. Our favorites of the Uncensored are:

  •         Integrating Freedom into Your Business Model w/Bart Vickrey
  •         How Facebook Ads Generate Leads for Agents w/Zachary Nussbaum
  •         How to Use Social Media to Build Relationships and Boost Your Business

Real Estate Rockstars

Second-last on our list of the best real estate podcasts, this podcast’s name is the most telling; the host, Pat Hiban, is an award-winning podcaster who has interviewed famous influencers like Tom Ferry, Barbara Corcoran, and Robert Kiyosaki. He is also the author of the book 6 Steps to 7 Figures: A Real Estate Professional’s Guide to Building Wealth and Creating Your Own Destiny. The episodes in his podcast are all under 30 minutes and easy to listen to. The host himself is a person to follow, and we recommend checking out his sales courses at Rebus University that can further deepen your skills.  We greatly enjoy these episodes:

  •         The First Step Toward a More Successful Real Estate Business, with Beth Traverso
  •         Disruptive Real Estate Technology to Make You More Money
  •         Cheap Ways to Run a Real Estate Business for Maximum Profit, with David Radcliffe

Hack the Entrepreneur

Last but not least on our list of the best real estate podcasts, this one is more general about entrepreneurship, but one that no agent wants to miss! It is hosted by best-selling author and business strategic, Jon Naster. The topics cover all potential obstacles on the entrepreneurial journey and help to develop that entrepreneurial mindset and encourage doing work that matters. Each episode features an interview with an entrepreneur – from solo digital nomads to those running multimillion-dollar startups. Episodes cover various topics from passive income ideas, coaching and consulting, content marketing, and entrepreneurial lifestyle. We really enjoy these three episodes:

  •         The 4-Day Content Creation System, with Pamela Wilson
  •         How to Scale Your Company, with Brett Crosby, the Founder of Google Analytics
  •         Building a Business Is About Progress (Not Perfection)
