How to Use Mashvisor’s Investment Property Finder Tool
Here’s a step-by-step guide for property investors on how to perform an investment property search and find rental properties using Mashvisor’s property finder tool. It’s actually not a long process – hence why you only need 15 minutes to get the results. First, click on the pulsing home icon at the top right corner of the screen, which redirects you to our property finder page.
Step 1: Choose City/Cities
The first thing a real estate investor has to do is use the Miles and From filters to set the location where they want to invest. If you’re looking for rental properties in multiple locations, you can select up to 5 cities in which you want to invest in real estate. When doing so, you’ll notice that the selected cities are shown in green boxes and the Miles filter will turn grey (unusable).
On the other hand, if you’re performing an investment property search in a single city, you can set the Miles filter at a certain radius to control the distance you’d like the investment properties to be from your city of choice. For example, if you set the Miles filter at 100 miles, any results that are farther than 100 miles away from the city will be filtered out.
With these two filters, property investors will narrow down the results to only include the areas that they’re interested in based on their personal investment property search criteria! As you already know, location is key for successful real estate investing. So, make sure you choose the right one!

Step 2: Set Your Criteria

Step 3: The Results

Moreover, each property card will have a green “tick” and a red “cross” that you can click to either “like” or “dislike” the property. Clicking on the Like button will save the rental property so that the real estate investor can view it later from the saved homes page. Clicking on the Dislike button, on the other hand, will remove the property from the list.
